The lift pass & equipment are separate
Slope access (the lift pass) and equipment are not included in the ski school’s services. You can buy your lift pass at reception, or order it online at SnowWorld Amnéville.
SnowWorld also hires out equipment (skis, snowboards, boots) as well as clothing suited to the activity.
Our lesson times cannot be moved, so we recommend arriving 40 minutes early to get ready calmly and start on time.

The École de Ski Français of Amnéville welcomes you on the SnowWorld indoor slope, a venue unlike any other in France.
With its easy-to-use lifts, its 2 slopes of differing levels and its quality snow, it is the ideal place to discover skiing or to train all year round.

Frequently asked questions
What you need to know before booking your first lesson.
What is the minimum age for a lesson?
From age 5 for alpine skiing, and from age 8 for snowboarding. Teenagers and adults are welcome at any age, from complete beginner to experienced skier.
Are the lift pass and equipment included?
No. Our lessons cover tuition by a certified instructor. The lift pass and equipment hire — skis, boots, helmet — are arranged on site at the ticket desk on the day of the lesson, and the lift pass can also be bought online at SnowWorld Amnéville (www.snowworld.com/fr/amneville) — do make sure you pick the Amnéville slope.
Do I need to know how to ski already?
Not at all: the ESF progression starts from zero. From beginner to Étoile d’Or, every level is validated by a test and a medal, and we will point you to the right group.
How does booking work?
Everything happens online: choose your lesson, choose your slot, then pay securely. You receive an email confirmation immediately, with a link to manage your booking.
Can you ski in summer, or without snow?
The indoor slope is covered in snow and maintained whatever the weather. The school teaches from October to June, then closes for the summer season.
Are students insured during the lesson?
Students are not insured by the ESF: please check that your own insurance covers skiing. Helmets are compulsory (available on a self-service basis at the hire desk), and a back protector is recommended for snowboarding.
What happens if I have to cancel my lesson?
More than 48 hours before the lesson, get in touch and the school will refund you. Less than 48 hours before, the lesson can no longer be refunded or moved — unless you took out the cancellation insurance offered at the time of booking, which then compensates you once you have filed a claim with the insurer.
How does the cancellation insurance work?
It is offered at the payment stage, in two options calculated on your basket total: “with supporting documents”, if you cancel for a reason covered by the policy (illness, accident, etc.), or “without supporting documents”, whatever the reason. It applies from 48 hours before the lesson — the point at which the school can no longer refund you itself.
